These terms outline the rules for using our website (www.dottedspace.co.uk) and the terms and conditions under which Dotted Space provides architectural visualization and design services.

2. Intellectual Property (Website Content)

The content, imagery, and designs on this website, including all portfolio gallery images (unless otherwise credited), are the intellectual property of Dotted Space.

3. Accuracy of Information

While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all information or images on the website are always complete or current. The technical data provided is for general information only and should not be relied upon for construction purposes without professional verification.

4. Limitation of Liability

Dotted Space will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of this website or reliance on information presented here.

5. Formation of Contract

A formal contract for services is established when The Client accepts a Quote/Estimate provided by Dotted Space (either via email or online acceptance) or pays a deposit. These Terms & Conditions apply to all contracts unless a specific "Bespoke Service Agreement" has been signed that explicitly overrides them.

6. Scope of Work & Fees

• Scope: We will provide the services as described in the written Quote. Any additional work requested by The Client that is not in the original Quote (e.g., additional views, modeling extra rooms) will be charged at our standard hourly rate or as a fixed extra cost.
• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required before work commences to schedule the project.
• Final Payment: The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the project, prior to the release of high-resolution, unwatermarked final files.
• Late Payment: We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

7. Revisions and Alterations

To ensure project efficiency, our Quotes include a specific number of revision rounds (typically two rounds unless stated otherwise).

• Included Revisions: Minor changes (e.g., texture adjustments, camera angle tweaks, lighting shifts).
• Major Changes: Structural changes to the 3D model (e.g., moving walls, changing building geometry) requested after the modeling phase has been approved are considered "Major Changes" and will incur additional fees.

8. Intellectual Property (Deliverables)

• Client License: Upon full payment of the final invoice, The Client is granted a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use the Final Deliverables (Images, PDFs, Videos) for marketing, planning, and construction purposes.
• Source Files: Dotted Space retains full ownership of all source files (e.g., 3ds Max files, Revit models, PSD files) and methodology. These are not included in standard deliverables. If The Client requires the editable source files, this must be agreed upon separately and will incur an additional "Source File Release Fee."

9. Cancellation Policy

If The Client cancels the project after work has begun but before the first draft, the 50% deposit is retained to cover time and scheduling losses. If The Client cancels after the first draft has been delivered, The Client is liable for the full project value.

10. Portfolio Usage

Dotted Space reserves the right to use the final images for our own promotional materials (website gallery, social media, brochures) unless a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) has been signed precluding this.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
